Thank God!  :metal
A little Vindication for A World Without  :tup

I have to keep going back and listening to a few of these songs to rank them. What a good f**king album this was, major return to form. Tough choices.

I'm going Don't Look Back next

A World Without

I was absolutely clueless this song was considered a fan favorite. I've always thought it was pathetic, that chorus is actually painful to listen to. The generic melody doesn't help either, it only makes the supposed emotion sound cheap and forced.

I've never really got that vibe at all. In fact, with the symphonics & everything, it reminds me a lot of Silent Lucidity, & I think it nails that "epic" feeling a lot better than some of the other songs on the album.

Redemption on the other hand, I don't get at all. That autotune on the chorus is painful to me, but maybe I'm just hearing things, idk.

Really? Silent Lucidity is a very captivating and beautiful song, while on AWW the melody lines are just... there. The lyrics are tragic, but the music doesn't quite get there emotionally IMO.
