Promised Land is the fifth studio album by Queensr˙che and their highest charting record to date. It was released by EMI on October 18, 1994, four years after their successful Empire album.

God damn it, that album is so tight... Love it... For now I have no problem with voting, but after two next rounds I'll be completely shattered... I Am I, for now.

After listening to this album again, I forgot how bloody good it is.

Seriously? I thought it was one of the best tracks on this album. The atmosphere takes me to another plane of existence every time I hear it, & the spoken-word vocals almost remind me of an 80's King Crimson track. If the song had been 8 minutes long I honestly wouldn't have minded at all. I could listen to it forever  :hefdaddy

Nah, Disconnected has an interesting rhythm but doesn't work as a song. And to add more to the flames, the title track is almost equally boring. At least imo.

Good tune, but the odd one out when it comes to the album's concept and overall sound.
