Voted for St Anger. An interesting document of a time in Metallica's history, and not without some good musical moments, but on the whole...not a very strong album.

Was tough between St. Anger and DM, but went with St. Anger.
Somehow I predict DM will end up top 5, sadly.

I'm honestly not even going to bother with this round. I would personally vote for one of the Load albums, but the hatred for SA is so overwhelming that voting for anything else is pointless.
Oh well....I guess I throw my 1 vote up there just so it's not unanimous

Alright, let's start that. Death Magnetic, but I know that St. Anger will be kicked out right away for sure. Just can't get through DM, St. Anger has some good parts.

I guess I wasn't following Metallica at the time it came out, so I didn't really care or have the opinions that the diehards did. Maybe if I was following the band and waiting and waiting for the album to come out, it might be differnet. Going back into the bands discography a few years later though, it was just sort of there and I took to it. It has its charm.

Pretty much every other Metallica album has redeeming qualities to it. SA does not in my book.
