Red Giant vs. Lapse was really tough. I think both songs are criminally underrated; both are top 5 songs from that album, IMO (along with 1985, The Architect and Bound by Gravity).
Edit: Shoot, I forgot about Earthrise. :facepalm: Well, those six songs are all great. The other two songs aren't nearly as good as any of those.
Aquarium should be kicking the crap out of Initiate.

i legit don't get the love for initiate. it's one of the weaker songs from affinity and affinity is only like haken's third-best album

I don't either. Of the other 35 songs from this contest, there are only a few I would rank lower (Eternal Rain, Darkest Light, Earthlings and maybe Nocturnal Conspiracy). Heck, even Cockroach King is better.

When I first started listening to Haken, Pareidolia was the song I liked the most. Now, while I still like it, it wouldn't be among my 10 favorites by the band.
Celestial Elixir, meanwhile, is still their best song to date (certain days I think Vision is, but most days I go with CE).

If by that, you actually mean, "The two least best songs from Affinity are easily Initiate and The Endless Knot," then I agree. :biggrin:
