By one late vote, TAMP is taken out, narrowly losing to BMS, which will likely be the next one out anyway, though the opening track may attract some competition!

I was tempted to vote for New Millennium to save Burning My Soul, but stuck with Hell's Kitchen in the end.

Exactly, so BMS

In order not to waste my vote on Hell's kitchen, New Millennium gets my vote.
Burning my soul is pretty cool in my opinion.

I was tempted to vote for New Millennium to save Burning My Soul, but stuck with Hell's Kitchen in the end.
Tempted to play a survivor properly? Should have did it.
NM. Hollow Years is my least favorite of the remaining, but have to try to save Burning My Soul!

To play it properly is what he did, by respecting the only rule the game has: vote for your least favorite song..

Then change the name of the whole thing to Dream Theater vote for your least favorite song over and over and over again.... because that's not what a survivor is.

Pretty sure all survivors are run with the rules of "voting off your least favorite". Doing a Google search shows me that any forum, anywhere, that runs survivors, asks its users and participants to vote off their least favorite...of whatever.

That doesn't surprise me. I can tell you that from 2005-2007, we played survivors on this forum with actual strategy. And it was the "least favorite over and over" mentality that drove me to adopt the league format.
But if I'm the only one who isn't in love with this mindlessly voting for the least favorite song over and over again.... if that's truly the desired height of our creativity... then I'll leave it alone.
-
Well, you know you're not the only one who doesn't like that rule, since there are so many that don't follow it.. In my case, I don't really know which option is better to get to know a more representative ranking.. But I don't see how voting a song for being your least favorite, even when you know is not gonna get many votes, is a mindless thing.. I'd rather call it a way to be true and honest to yourself and every body else..

By now I'm just of the opinion that everyone should just do what they want. No one is changing anyone's mind any time this discussion comes up so just do what you normally do and get on with it. Seeing this debate in every survivor is getting tedious.
