Title: The OA (Netflix)
Post by: hefdaddy42 on December 19, 2016, 07:15:36 AM
Anyone else watching this?  I'm three episodes in, and I'm not sure yet if this is really high-level weird shit, or if I'm being completely trolled.

I'm five episodes in and have the same feeling. It's just interesting enough to keep me hooked but at the same time I feel like the 'pay off' is gonna be a let down in a way. You put it perfectly, is this high level weird shit....or just an elaborate prank?

I'm far enough in to finish it out to find out....but this is unlike any other show I've binged or watched in the respect that I'm not completely sold on it at all, yet I hammered out those five in a row because I wanted to keep watching? It's strange.

I'm definitely in for complete run, especially since it is only 8 episodes.

We'll see what happens.

Just hammered out the last four episodes. I'm with you, so many questions. I'll wait for Hef to signal he's complete being it seems like at this point in time it's us three....but yeah. That could go a couple different ways. Clearly there's some strange stuff going on but just how strange?

Oh, I finished it.

Wow, that was, well, not like anything I've ever seen.

I think it was all real.

The final scene with her calling out to Homer makes me lean towards her story is legit. But they did leave it in a way where it's conceivable that she's just crazy.

If it gets a second season it's gonna be interesting.

No kidding.

I can only come up with maybe they were tailing the group individually and he followed him in?

Season 2 confirmed. I'm curious as to how this is going to play out now that there's definitely a second season.

Well, just like with every episode of season 1, I have no idea.

:lol    No kidding. The most well executed display of organizing the confusion, uncertainty and vagueness in such a manner that it both infuriates you to no end yet intrigues you with such conviction you rip off watching 3 or 4 episodes in a night.
