I am not going to get into the debate over whether a seated crowd is a good idea, or whether the ticket sales were great.
We were front and center, and my kids loved the whole experience. I was close enough to JP and JL at times to greet them like Trump greets random women. But I am civilized, so I kept my hands to myself. That is, until JP tossed me a pick, and MM got my attention to directly send me two drumsticks. They were for my kids, dressed as Xander and Faythe.
We met a fellow forum Board contributor - and this shirt is hysterical.

The highlight of our evening was during the very last song, when James reached down to my daughter and pulled her up on the stage. She looked kind of nervous, but thrilled. I coached her to raise a fist, she did - and the crowd responded in kind. It was pretty freaking awesome.
(Violating the no camera rule - hey, my kid was onstage with Dream Theater!)

So for us, the front of the house was a great space, regardless of the lackluster image from the 360 camera that has been criticized on facebook.

Hey. Saw you guys there. It was priceless when James had your daughter come up on the stage during Astonishing. It capped off the concert in a special way. I loved the look on her face.
I loved the Wilkes Barre show. The crowd was a little subdued but not too bad. During JP's solo in A New Beginning I couldn't take it anymore. Some of us started to stand up and cheer as he kept building it. I waved everyone around me to get up. It was too epic to stay seated. By the end the whole crowd was on their feet cheering. :metal James made us stand up for A Hymn of a Thousand Voices and we stayed on our feet the rest of the way. I really enjoyed the concert. It was nice to drive less than an hour to see my favorite band.

It was nice to meet you Andy...glad you liked the shirt!! That was amazing when James pulled your daughter up on stage. She will never forget that. Your kids were a big hit as our entire row was talking about how great they looked. Too bad it wasn't a sold out show but it was still awesome, hell it was DT in practically my back yard. I was so close to going to the Hershey show the next night but decided to leave my sister's in Harrisburg to get home at a reasonable hour.
