Welcome!!
I have been informed that it is my turn for a roulette. Earlier then expected, but that's ok. This is my first roulette, so I will be taking Chad's advice and following the KISS concept. I am shooting for 8-10 participants and 8-10 rounds. That will be finalized in the next couple of days.
All rounds will be marked on a scale of 1-10 and all rounds will be completely open.
As for tastes, I think its pretty well known that I am a 70's/80's/early 90's heavy metal/hard rock/classic rock/some prog guy. There are newer bands/songs that I like, but most have that old school sound. So I am open to newer music/bands, but just beware that I am not too keen on modern radio rock sounding bands.
Some other musical notes:
1) If you send me something outside of the rock genre, it very likely won't work out well.
2) If you send me something with growls, that will very likely get you a zero.
3) If you send me "The Stranger" by Geoff Tate, you are out of the competition for good.
As for sending me the songs, I actually prefer youtube links. That's where I listen to most of my samples as I tend to read comments on songs as I listen to them. I can assure you that sound quality on youtube will not affect your score whatsoever.

I don't have Spotify and don't have much interest in it. If your song isn't on youtube, we could figure something out (mp3, etc).
BONUS POINTS/SONGS: There are just over 20 songs that I am thinking of. I don't have any of the songs on my iPOD and I am just a casual fan of all of them. All of these tunes were mainstream successful songs from the 80's/early 90's (some bigger then others) and all are songs you would typically hear on Dee Sniders House of Hair. If you are willing to gamble and get one of these songs correct, you would get an 11/10 along with a wild card do-over for any round. But this is where the gamble comes into play. It's very unlikely that I haven't heard of a mainstream rock/metal song from the 80's/early 90's, so it will be tough to send me something I haven't heard before. So if it's not on my iPOD list, that would typically mean I am just a casual fan of it and it would likely get around a 7ish/10. Everyone would be familiar with these bonus songs, so there is nothing obscure whatsoever. But if the gamble pays off, you get big points. And I will just note that all of these songs would fit in nicely with whats on my iPOD. But it has to be the correct band and song to get the bonus!
As for my list and banned artists, I will just give you what's on my iPOD. This includes pretty much everything that I have. If I have put "banned" beside a band, don't bother lol. If a band isn't banned, I would be open to getting something else from them. If one of the bands interests you, just PM me and I will tell you what I have from them.
There really isn't many metal/rock songs from the 70's/80's/early 90's that I don't like. So if you stay within my comfort zone, you will always do well. Hopefully we can start this up in the next 2-3 days. Once I get all the songs from the players, I will post results usually within 4 days. I will try to keep it going at a good pace. But I likely won't do too detailed/long of write-ups/reviews, just cut to the chase.

Bloodbound- Satanic Panic: Pure Power Metal! This to me sounds like a combination of Primal Fear meets Hammerfall. I found the chorus to be very catchy and the song very enjoyable overall. I've never been a huge fan of Hammerfall, I can only take them in smaller doses. And with Bloodbound, I found that they leaned more towards Hammerfall then Primal Fear. Great song though. 8

Avantasia- Toy Factory: Avantasia is a band that gets lots of love and I've tried to get into them a few times. But I always found them to be hit or miss. Some songs were outstanding, while others were just dripping in excess cheese. The songs that I recall kicking ass had Russell, Ripper and Kiske on the vocals. There is something about Tobias and his vocals that just don't connect with me. This song, however, did connect. I knew that Alice Cooper did some vocals, but never really checked out this song. How in the world that this song isn't Tim's all time favorite is a mystery. Almost a prog type song with Alice on vocals! A TAC dream! 8.5
Fluff:
Santana- Toussaint Overture: I've really come to enjoy guitar instrumentals a lot over the last few years. Moore, Macalpine, Batio, and all the guitar shreeders from Shrapnel is great material. I've always heard that Santana was very influential, but never checked him out. I always just associate him with that song with that matchstick guy. I enjoyed this tune much more than I thought I would, especially the last two minutes. Good tune. 7

Q5- Missing in Action: Q5 has been on my radar for years, I've been familiar with the title track Steel the Light and I've heard nothing but good things about that album and the follow-up. Those two albums really have a cult status and it must be for good reason. This song is an old school ass kicker!! Classic metal and a great choice. 8.5

Snake Eyes- Time of Dismay: Again, a Primal Fear type song (you guys must realize I like that band). This time, I got a sense of a combination of Primal Fear and Running Wild. The vocalist seems to be a mix of Ralf/Rolf and the song just kicks ass. Great screaming metal vocals and top notch overall. 9
Wolf:
Black Majesty- Firestorm: Obviously some Power Metal can get over the top cheesy. This song is great power metal without crossing the cheese line and I enjoyed it. I even found at some points in the song that the vocalist can sound a bit like Todd La Torre. Thats a very good thing! 8

Golden Resurrection- See My Commands: Great song!! Symphonic Christian Power Metal and a kick ass one at that! Great vocals and the guitar player looks and reminds me of Michael Romeo. This chorus probably stuck in my head the longest. Cool tune! 8.5

Sheriff- When I'm With You: This would have been a bonus point attempt by Splent and it was a safe attempt at that. Right square in the safe comfort zone of 80's power ballads. This would be one of those songs that I like, but would never classify as a Jason classic. With that being said, I can only imagine how many guys have gotten lucky to this song in its history! 7.5
Hath:
Brazen Abbot- Nightmares: This band would be of the graduating class of Whitesnake, Yngwie and Rainbow. This class would get an A from me and this is newer rock done right! Along with Brents song, I would say this one was my favorite of the round. Very good! 9

Shadow Quest- All One: Very similar for me as the Bloodbound song from R1 (same vocalist), this is just no bones about it, straight up metal. The vocals tend to make it Hammerfallish to me again. But cool song, no question. 8

Grand Magus- Triumph & Power: Very cool song. Reminds me of a possible modernish Manowar or Virgin Steele. Great vocals and great guitar solo as well. 8.5

Datsuns- Lady: Garage rock 101. I can appreciate this kind of music, but never in a million years would I buy it or listen to it on a regular basis. Trail of Murder- Some Stand Alone: Hellz Yeah! You mentioned that this was your album of the year in 2012 and I can see why. This is again, modern metal done right. Almost gives me a vibe of an amped up modern day Queensryche. The vocals are great, and looking into Urban Breed I see he was the singer of Tad Morose, another band I like what I hear from. My favorite of the round. 9

Freedom Call- The Quest: Besides Helloween, I've never really gotten into much European Happy Power Metal. I'm as cheesy as it gets, but even I have some boundaries. For example, Rhapsody does very little for me. Freedom Call; however, is much better then that, but still came across as a less manlier version of Manowar. Epic for sure and still a good song. 7.5

Pink Cream 69- Gods Come Together: I don't have anything from PC69, but have checked them out a few times due to Andi Deris being the ex lead singer. I really liked what I heard from the Deris era, but never heard much post Deris. This is a great melodic tune and very enjoyable. It seems that PC69 is a very underated band and should have had more success. 8

Blind Guardian- Majesty: This is another band that I've always liked what I've heard from, but don't own anything. Hansi's vocals never really did much for me. However, on this tune both Hansi and the band are on fire. Great performance and great selection. 8

Royal Hunt- Lies: Yet another band I've looked into checking out; this was due to DC Cooper being the vocalist on some albums. I liked what I heard on the song "message to God" and this band sounds very cool. I listened to some of that new album a couple of years ago and found it pretty boring. However, this song is great solid metal with a good vocalist John West. He's no DC, but not many guys are. I might have found it slightly generic to get it a score of eight. Good tune. 7.5

Alice Cooper: What do you want from me- I will have the same review for both Tim and EM. I'm a big fan of both Alice Cooper and the Scorpions from their classic era, but from what I've heard, both have been somewhat inconsistent from the mid 90's onward. This tune, along with the Scorpions tune, is great stuff. Both would fit in well with their classic era material and I enjoyed both. Very catchy! 8

Tyketto: Forever Young- This is a band name that I've seen many times over the years, but never checked them out. This is fantastic early 90's melodic metal. Just the classic sounding voice for this era of music. I would be interested in seeing what Brent rates this song and album, because to me, this song is Brent 101. Great choice! 9

Iron Savior: Heavy Metal Never Dies- I've liked everything that I've heard from Iron Savior. If ACDC is paint by the numbers hard rock, then Iron Savior should be in consideration for paint by the numbers heavy metal. This is a band that plays straight up heavy metal and will likely never change up their formula. And why bother, they kick serious ass. Kade, check out their version of Priest's Desert Plains. 8.5
Fluff:
Sepultura: Stronger than Hate- This is another band that I've seen the name of probably hundreds of times over the years. I've never been the biggest fan of thrash. Slayer, Overkill, Testament (the loudest band I've ever seen live) are great bands, but when it comes to thrash, its usually the vocals that bring it down for me. This is the same case with Sepultura. The songs is heavy as heck, but the vocals don't do much for me. Still a cool song. 7

Empires of Eden: Hammer Down- This song is pretty pretty pretty pretty pretty pretty good. Actually its more then pretty good, its freaking awesome. How did I not know about this song before?? Rob Rock, Steve Grimmett, UDO, among others singing on this kick ass tune. Just a fantastic, screaming slab of pure metal!! My favorite song of the roulette so far. 10

Liege Lord: Fallout- I've liked what I've always heard from Liege Lord, but for whatever reason, never bought anything from them or listened to them at great length. This is just pure heavy metal delight. Brent described it as Bruce Dickinson fronting KTA era Metallica. What a great description and fits it perfectly. Liege Lord is classic metal 101 and alot of bands like them just seem to have a cult following just like alot of straight up metal bands from the 80's like Breaker, Warlord, Banshee, Grim Reaper,Agent Steel, Omen, Malice, Vicous Rumors, Shark Island. Didn't fit into glam or thrash, just meat and potatos metal. Awesome stuff and just behind Chads song from R3 for my favorite so far. 9.5

Toto: Girl Goodbye- I know a few songs from Toto. I don't mind Africa and I actually really like Hold the Line. I've never heard this song before. Good classic rock song. Has a touch of prog and I maybe sense a touch of disco lol. Not something I would listen to often, but I liked it. 7

Jorn- Walking on Water: I figured Chad would have sent a Jorn song because he is the master of the roulette shenanigans. Watching this video, Jorn was either very angry or very consitpated. The song itself is excellent, a nice match up of Masterplan and Allen/Lande vibe. Great chorus. EM, I hope you don't mind me upgrading you from your typical eight. 8.5
Hath:
Dynazty- Starlight: I've seen this band name before, but never checked them out. I found this one very very interesting and would be interested in hearing other songs from them. This band has an 80s look to them and the singer has a very melodic voice, but the music itself is much heavier then i expected. Something tells me that this band wasn't always this heavy musically but may have changed their style somewhat at some point. Whatever the case, this sound really works and I really enjoyed this one. 9
TAC:
Inner Wish- Roll the Dice: Tim knows to send his straight up metal and this one is just a pedal to the metal! I'm familiar with Noctural Rites and this band reminded me of them. Great guitar solo and a great song overall. 8
Wolf:
Dungeon- Pariah: This one is fast and very very heavy. Gives me a Charred Walls of the Damned vibe. The chorus is solid and the vocalist has a great scream on him. Good pick. 8
Chad:
Manimal- Irresistible: Both Chad and Paul sent the same band in this round and I can see why. People were calling this tune Painkiller part 2 and that is a very interesting opinion. A modern sounding Judas Priest and it works very well. The screams were very very good and the song overall was excellent. I keep seeing the Manimal name popping up and I can see why they are getting so popular. 9
Paul:
Manimal- March of Madness: Both Paul and Chad picked well with this band. This one is a bit more melodic then Chad's and showcases the singers vocals a bit more. The band seems pretty diverse and they are doing a good job with modern metal. Good selections by both Chad and Paul with Manimal! 9
Fluff:
Soundgarden- Jesus Christ Pose: Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots and Alice in Chains are the three standout bands for me from the mid 90s gruge era. I don't own anything from them and am just a casual fan overall, but I enjoy some of their songs when I hear them on the radio. "Sex Type Thing", "Would" and "Outshined" are the three standouts and I find those three songs to be excellent. I've heard the name to this Soundgarden song many times over the years, but I don't recall ever listening to it in its entirety. This is pretty heavy stuff and while I dont like it as much as outshined, I found it enjoyable overall. But I know that I would never be much of a Soundgarden fan. 7
Splent:
Sweet- Fox on the Run: Solid classic rock song. I can't say I've ever been a huge fan of the 70s glitter pop rock bands like Sweet or Angel. Don't mind them at all, but would never listen to them at great length. I've come across this song in the past and thought it was pretty good. I will say that the chorus for Fox on the Run stayed in my head the longest compared to any other song in the round lol. 7

Allman Brothers- In Memory of Elizabeth Reed: I don't know alot about the Allman brothers, but I will say this is a great classic rock instrumental. From what I can see, this live album is pretty legendary and I can see why. Good stuff, I should check out more from them. 8

Persuader- Fire at Will: This is an ass kicker! Never heard of this band before, but this is Metal Church type music with a great vocalist at the mic. Very thrashy but still melodic. Great selection Paul. 9

Loudness- Black Wall: I am familiar with Thunder in the East from Loudness and especially Crazy Nights. This is from an earlier album and it has a bit of a different sound for the band. This comes across as almost a New Wave of Heavy Metal sound and I will say that it works very very well. Guitars are awesome on this one too. Another great song. 9
Chad:
Borealis- The Journey: This is a solid selection but can't say it wowed me too much. Still floated my boat, but maybe just at a canoe level. I actually found it slightly on the boring side, but its still ok. As Bubbles would say, decent. 7
Kade:
Redemption- The Suffocating: A bit of a cheat song, but a smart one. I've enjoyed everything I've heard from Redemption, but for whatever reason, don't have anything of theirs. This is just fantastic modern metal and like everything I've heard from Redemption, thought it was great. Smart pick! 9

Faithful Breath- Play the Game: Brent knows his very old school heavy metal and it impresses me alot. This is another great selection, but I found it wasn't in the same league as Liege Lord or Artch, your previous selections. I found the singer to be good, but not great. Overall, this is still money to send me and I enjoyed it. 8

yes, I know them all.
I picked 20 songs from the 80s'/early 90s that were not on my ipod list, but would fit in nicely. All of those songs would be played on the House of Hair. If you can pick them correctly, like Splent has been, you get the bonus.

Malice- Breathing down your neck: I've heard this album, Licence to Kill, a couple times before and liked it. Listening to it again, I love it. This is old school metal 101 and I can see why this is a TAC classic. Very Lizzy Borden sounding and right up my alley. 9.5

Racer X- Superheroes: I have and am familiar with the first two Racer X albums. I'm a big fan of both, but for whatever reason, I haven't heard anything else from the band besides those two albums. I even sent a Racer X song in one of Chads roulettes. Well I should check out other material from them because this is just as good as those first two albums. Fantastic pure metal, great call Hath! 9.5

Firewind- Into the Fire: Kade knows his modern metal probably better then anyone, and this is another great song from him. Just pure straight up metal, I really liked the chorus on this one. Wolf is very consistent with his selections! 8.5

Cacophony- Concerto: A couple years back, Kade got me into a bunch of different guitar instrumental albums, including Becker and Friedman. He also mentioned that they had this project together, but to be leery of it because the vocals were somewhat subpar. However, this track doesn't have any vocals and Becker and Friedman just rip on it. As good as it gets for me when it comes to guitar instrumentals. Love this one. 10
Fluff:
Janis Joplin- I need a man to love: While I've never gotten into or been a fan of Janis, you still got to respect her abilities and her material. This song would be like the rest of her discography to me; I can appreciate it, but will never fully get into it. 6.5
Evermind:
Serious Black- I seek no other life: Another pedal to the metal song from EM. The vocalist on this track is Urban Breed, who is a standout singer to me. Brent sent a song with him of vox as well earlier and I was also impressed. This is great stuff and just pure metal- just what I like! Great choice. 9

Crystal Eyes- Shadow Rider: Mix Iron Maiden/Iced Earth and a modern sound, and you clearly have a winning formula. Brent, like Kade, know alot of their modern metal with a classic tinge. Another great selection from Brent and you'll never go wrong sending me a song like this one. Guitar outro was a standout part of this song. 9

The instant I saw that Wait was a bonus song, I knew in my soul that Addicted to That Rush would also be there. Call it local knowledge. That tune was all over the radio and Much Music in the late 80s.
Now, just wait until I re-group and annex that "7" of mine from last round. Think I might know a couple more of the bands that the bonus songs are from, it's just a matter of getting the right tune. But I'm not going to go that route unless I tank again - which I have no intention of doing.

Brent, with all your cd's, did you never get the Japanese versions of any of them? It was always a wonder why they would have alot of the bonus tracks, while American versions had jack squat.

Oh yeah............plenty of Japanese versions. I understand why it is/was done and the bonus tracks were often as good , if not better , than many of the regular tracks. I just didn't like having to fork out massive import prices for the full quota of tracks.

Some of us need that extra bit of "performance enhancement" :biggrin: Good thing there's no drug testing going on here. Definitely at least 2.5 extra for correctly submitting a bonus eligible track. Helps the recovery from my prior 'duds'.

In regards to Mcauley Schenker, I've heard "Save Yourself" and this one before, and really liked them, but never looked into them any further because the Save Yourself album seemed so hard to find. I really should look into this closer because this ballad is exactly the reason I have a shoe box of bics. Really the definition of an 80s power ballad and awesome stuff. And Tim, before your blood pressure goes through the roof, yes its true. You are getting a perfect score, but still lost to Winger. 10

Lita Ford- Kiss Me Deadly: For fucks sake Spencer! This is getting weird and I'm starting to think that Splent is actually Criss Angel. 11

Black Tora- Fuel My Hunger: Awesome choice with this one, this is exactly what I would look for in a newer metal band. Classic sounding all the way, maybe a heavier version of Y&T mixed with Dokken. Great stuff. 9.5

Talisman- Mysterious: This is another band that has been on my radar for years, the main reason being that Jeff Scott Soto is the lead singer. I've never heard anything from him that I didn't like and this is right up my alley too. Melodic metal/rock 101 right here and another great pick from Paul. Star One- Master of Darkness: A Star Wars heavy metal song! I've noticed Chad pimping this band a few times and it sounded quite interesting. Well, it is. And to have Sir Russell Allen on vocals on top of it! If Russell was singing me the breakfast menu at McDonalds I would be rocking out! Very very cool song! 9.5

Stooges- Fun House: Just like Janis Joplin, I respect what the Stooges have done musically, but there is a zero percent chance I could ever get into them. Not a bad song though, just not my thing. 6

Heavens Gate- Livin in Hysteria: Brent is a roulette master and he continues to be very consistent in sending me songs that he knows I will like. Another old school metal band that I've never heard of, but is totally my thing. Just pure pedal to the metal and is a band I will have to look into further, just like Leige Lord and Artch. 9.5

Marillion- Sugar Spice: I've seen this band around DTF many times and I have checked out some of their stuff. But the material came across to me sounding a bit like Peter Gabriel era Genesis. And I can't say that I enjoy the trippy stuff too much. But I will say that this song specifically is much better that what I remember sampling and I actually dug it quite a bit. But still not enough to look into the band much more further. 7

Glad you liked the Talisman. All their albums are pretty good but all contain some filler. I started with a best of which did the job. Genesis is my favourite, Humanimal is heavier. Almost sent the title track.

Journey: Feeling My Way/Anytime: Like Kansas, I only have a greatest hits from Journey and enjoy most of it. Actually Separate Ways is one of my favorite rock songs of the 80s. I'm aware that before the commerical era of Journey, they had a different sound in the 70s; but I really havent looked into it that much. I believe this song is from the first album with Steve on the vocals and its a very different sound then what I know from Journey. Its a tad proggy with the normal sap I would expect from Journey. I liked it but can't say I would go out of my way to check out anything further from 70s Journey. Still enjoyable overall. 7

The McCauley/Schenker albums were in the end, quite frustrating and disappointing. Best of the bunch was Save Yourself, where Schenker is ripping through the whole thing.

I would still say all of the material from MSG is very underrated in rock history.

Michael Schenker literally is the reason I like the music I do. His second album, MSG, might literally be the most influential album of my life.
But if I'm being fair, a lot of his stuff is inconsistent. The thing about Schenker, is that he's really all about the song. I wish he wasn't because he could on on full on rip mode. His work with UFO is as good as any guitarist I've ever heard.

Pathosray- Scent of Snow: This song may have been slightly out of my comfort zone, but Chad really wanted me on a Taste of Italy. It worked, I really liked this one. It has a very cool atmospheric sound to it and the last third had a Dream Theater/Redemption vibe to it. Cool song! 9

Kyuss- Supa Scoopa and the Mighty Scoop: I was tempted to give you one Japanese bonus point just for the song title. If I'm not mistaken, Queens of the Stoned Age and Kyuss are the same band. They both play a solid slab of stoner rock. Like all your submissions Fluff, this is solid stuff, but nothing that would overly be my thing. 6.5

Jaded Heart- Ain't a Perfect World: This song sounded like a combination of Hardline, House of Lords and Axel Rudi Pell. In the melodic rock world, that's as good as it gets and I really liked this song. The vocals sounded very familar to me so I had to look into it. Michael Bormann from Silent Force! That made the song even cooler! 9.5

Splent has taken my 'always cheat' motto to a whole new level. Methinks that this is the law of unintended consequences rearing it's ugly head. I'm pretty sure I know at least 2 potential bonus songs, maybe 3 or 4. But, it ain't always about winning. I played that card when I needed to (because of that turd 7 score). Now it's just about kick-ass tunes.

The other option I was thinking of was no bonus songs, but everyone had 2 or 3 wild cards to use at any time. That probably would have worked out better.
I never figured someone would try for the bonus songs every round, let alone get them right. But oh well, good for Splent. The bonus songs were there more for people who were out of it and this would be a chance to make a comeback
And you can still go for bonus songs all the way through til the end, if it means a wild card after the fact, that works. But I also should have put restrictions of bonus song attempts too

Roxu- Rock n Roll Nights- This is a very obscure band from Australia and I believe Wolf said they only released one album. Kade mentioned this would be right up my alley and it is for sure. I would like to see what Brent rates this one because I think this is just fantastic melodic rock. Do you guys have the full album from these guys and is it all top notch like this song. 9.5

Hammerfall- Hearts on Fire- I've heard a large amount from Hammerfall and for whatever reason, could never fully get into them. Everything is solid European metal, but I can't say I ever go out of my way to listen to them. I'm not a huge fan of Joacim's voice. But from what I've heard, I did always like this song and "Stone Cold". 7.5

Hibria- Screaming Ghost: Hellz yeah with this one! This is another one of those modern metal songs that is done right. This is an old fashioned screaming metal song in the vein of Judas Priest or Primal Fear. Awesome guitar solo and just enjoyed everything about this one. Great choice Tim! 9.5

David Gilmour- Dancing Right in Front of Me: The last round wasn't actually David Gilmour, it was The Answer. This round from EM was Dave and EM predicted a 5/10. Pink Floyd has always been hit or miss from me. Animals, WYWH, and Dark Side are enjoyable all the way through. But other material, that's not always the case for me. This song definitely isn't a fiver, as I found it pretty good. Might be a tad boring, but overall was a good, but mellow tune. 7
Hath:
Joel Hoekstra- The Only Way to Go: I've heard mixed reviews about this album last year, but everything I've heard sounded really good. Still hadn't picked it up, but liked all the samples. And how could I not, Russell Allen and JSS on vocals. This is just fantastic melodic metal and another great selection by Hath! 9
Chad:
Vanden Plas- Rainmaker: This is another band name I've seen countless times, but never checked out. Chad has his niche in melodic progressive metal and this is another song that works on all levels. Just a cool metal song and I should look into VP more; great great song! 9
Wolf:
Evergrey- Mark of the Triangle: Same as VP, I've seen this name bounced around many times. Another great metal song from Kade, who knows his modern metal probably better then anyone on DTF. Vibe on this song reminds me maybe of a combination of Magnitude 9 and Jag Panzer. How can you go wrong with that? 8.5

Edguy- Tears of a Mandrake: Like Hammerfall, I should probably like Edguy a bit more then I do. I've given both bands a fair shake, and neither connect overly that much with me. The vocals from Tobias might have something to do with it. I will say the song "Superheroes" is great and probably my favorite from what I've heard from the band. I don't recall if I've heard this song before, but I definitely like it. I liked it, but still not enough to get into Edguy completely. 8
Fluff:
Jerry Garcia- Expressway: Rowan, I truly appreciate the effort, but I find this song the same as the other songs you've sent. Joplin, Stogges and Garcia are all artists that I can respect, but will never get into, no matter what. Not bad at all, this song has a nice easy going vibe, but overall not my thing. 6.5

Overlorde- Snow Giant: Yet another mid 80's ass kicking classic metal song that I've never heard of. Brent is the roulette master, and this song is another one that is totally my thing. Fantastic tune and there is a reason the lead singer has the nickname "Leather Lungs". What a cool nickname and totally suits this guy. Very obscure band, but very cool! 10

I think the only way to force overtime or beat Splent is to jump in the vat of grease with him. You will have to slip and slide in the grease with Splent and pick a correct Japanese song for round 10 and then pick another Japanese song for the wild card. Riot- Metal Warrior: I'm familiar with Restless Breed, Fire Down Under and Thundersteel from Riot. I haven't heard anything from them since their mid 80's albums. Stevie Ray Vaughan- Say What: Everything I've heard from SRV has been great and enjoyable. And how could anyone actually dislike his guitar playing. The talent on this man is impressive. Cool selection Fluff. 8

War Machine- Eternally: Only 31 views on youtube when I played this one. This is clearly a unknown melodic rock song, and everything about it is great. Very catchy song and I'm surprised I've never heard the name before. Are they a spin offf from Harem Scarem or is Harry Hess just helping out? Great song! 8.5
Paul:
Crazy Lixx- 21 til I die: A modern take on the LA sleeze sunset strip rock scene. And it really works! Just a cool song and I would be interested in hearing if all of their material is a throw back to this sound. 9
Hath:
Cans- Beyond the Gate: Solo material from the lead singer of Hammerfall and not surprisingly, it sounds just like Hammerfall. I've mentioned before that I've tried to get into HF a few times and while I enjoy their albums, I just didn't become a huge fan. I found this song to be better then alot of HF's material though. Really good song. 8
Wolf:
Stratovarious- Black Diamond: Another band that I've heard their big hits, but didn't really connect with them. Great European metal and I know the one song I really liked from them was "Kiss of Judas". I can see why they have the following that they do though. Another great song from Wolf! 8.5

I had a feeling that there'd be a Bulletboys tune on the list, and knew Extreme would be there - just didn't know which track. I correctly predicted Bon Jovi, and if it wasn't gonna be Wanted Dead or Alive, it would surely be You Give Love a Bad Name.
As for WarMachine... Darren Smith played drums for them at one point, and I think Harry produced this album, with the chorus contribution on that track. I've seen them live a few times, and they are fun (and fucking loud!). They aren't quite as melodic as this tune is, more metal-y... but kind of an 'alternative' metal if I had to describe it. Second album is especially heavy.

Letter7- Mystery: Catchy, melodic and heavy. The triple threat of jjrock. Fantastic song and one of my favorites of the roulette. 5
Stormwitch- Welcome to Bedlam: I am familiar with Ravonlord from Stormwitch, but haven't heard much more from them. This is another of Brents old school metal, which suits me fine! Similar to Lizzy Borden. 4.5
Animal- Eye of the Storm: Take WASP and turn it up a notch. And no wonder, its Randy Piper from WASP and this song just kicks all kinds of ass. 5
Knight Fury- The Message: An all star lineup of rockers and this tune is just pedal to the metal. I think I'm catching on that Brent knows what songs to send in roulettes! 4.5
Striker- All the Way: A newer Canadian band that plays NWOBHM. I can't believe that I haven't heard of these guys. But this is a perfect example of a newer metal band playing old school metal at its best. Great choice! 5
Twisted Tower Dire- The Reflecting Pool: And just for Brent to top things off, a longer metal song with some progressive touches. Very cool song and like all of Brents songs, I enjoyed this one. 4.5

Angra-Deus le Volt and Spread Your Fire: Angra will fall into the category with Hammerfall, Stratovarious, and Edguy. Like them, but have never felt the need to look into them beyond some hits. 4
Chimp Scanner- Dark Age of Technology: This is great stuff. I've been getting into instrumentals the last few years and this is just a kick ass shred fest. 4.5
Living Colour- Cult of Personality: This is the only song from Living Colour that I know of. But when I hear it daily on the radio, I always enjoy it. CM Punk is the first thing that comes to mind. 4
Sonata Arctica- Still Loving You: Great Scorpions cover! This is a cover done right. Not a clone, but they put their own spin on it. Good stuff! 4
John Petrucci- Glasgow Kiss: I need to check out John's solo stuff more. This is absolutely awesome and right up there with the shredders from the Shrapnel albums. 5
Queen- I Want it All: I'm only familiar with the radio hits of Queen, so I can't say I've ever heard this one before. But I really enjoyed it, and actually liked it more than alot of their big hits. 4
